The wheel
The 22.5×9.00 tubeless steel wheel is the size truck fleets across Africa, the Middle East and Latin America order most, and the size we run continuously: a one-piece 15°DC (15° drop-centre) welded steel disc wheel to GB/T 31961, with 15° bead seats for tubeless radial tyres and a pressed steel disc welded to the rolled rim. Five catalogue drillings cover ISO 335 in hub-piloted and ball-seat form, North American 285.75 and JIS 285 ball seat, and an 8×275 hub-piloted pattern — one order can cover new Chinese and European tractors, North-American-pattern units and used Japanese trucks.

Reading the five configurations
Hub-piloted (H1)
- 10×26 · PCD 335 · CB 281 · offset 161 — the ISO fitment: European trucks, current Chinese heavy trucks and post-changeover Japanese trucks. Flat seat, one flange nut per stud, centred on the hub pilots.
- 8×24 · PCD 275 · CB 221 · offset 60 — an 8-stud hub-piloted pattern with a 13 mm disc. The 60 mm offset is the outlier here — match it to the axle drawing, not the tyre size.
Ball seat (JSR18 / JSR22)
- 10×32.5 · PCD 285.75 · CB 221.5 · offset 161 — the North American stud-piloted pattern with double cap nuts; 43.8 kg listed.
- 10×27 · PCD 335 · CB 281 · offset 147 — the ISO 335 bolt circle in ball-seat form, for cap-nut hubs on the 10×335 pattern.
- 8×32.5 · PCD 285 · CB 221 · offset 161 — the JIS 8×285 ball-seat pattern of Japanese-built heavy trucks, common in African used-import fleets.
None of these interchange — 10×335 comes in H1 and JSR18 seat forms, and 285 and 285.75 are 0.75 mm apart — because the seat form decides how the wheel is located and clamped. Construction, material and certification
- Rim — 15°DC tubeless profile, 7 mm on all five configurations.
- Disc — 14 mm on the three 10-hole configurations and the 8×285, 13 mm on the 8×275; pressed and welded to the rim.
- Steel — wheel steel AG440CL / AG380CL; final grade fixed by the approved drawing and required wheel load.
- Standard — GB/T 31961.

Yes — the 10×32.5 JSR22 ball-seat configuration: PCD 285.75 mm, centre bore 221.5 mm, offset 161 mm, 43.8 kg listed, standard tyre 12R22.5. A hub-piloted 285.75 version is not among the five catalogue configurations; ask for it with an approved vehicle drawing.
What tyres fit a 22.5×9.00 steel wheel?
Catalogue standard tyres are 11R22.5, 12R22.5 and 315/80R22.5 by configuration. Other 22.5-inch radials may be approved for a 9.00-inch rim by the tyre manufacturer — confirm against its fitment table before ordering.
